Rekinder is committed to protecting the privacy of families using our platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG).
What data we collect
- Account information: name and email address
- Listing content: photos, descriptions, and location (neighbourhood level only)
- Transaction data: reservation details and Stripe payment references
- Usage data: the listings and searches you save, and the listings you share. We do not record the pages you visit or the searches you type
- Error reports: when something goes wrong, a report of the error is sent to Sentry
How we use your data
- To operate the marketplace and connect buyers with sellers
- To send emails: account confirmation, password resets, reminders about offers that are about to expire, alerts and digests for your saved searches, a proof-of-handover record after a completed handover, and a feedback request after a handover
- If you opt in, occasional emails about new features and community updates
- To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns and feedback
Your rights
